_ Filho, primeiro agente come a carne e depois da o osso ao cachorro. O garoto, contrariado, não deu a coxa de frango ao cachorro. Após fazer sua refeição, pegou o osso e deu ao cachorro, dizendo:
_ Toma, Totó! Era pra ser uma oferta, mas agora é só uma coleta!
Muita gente age da mesma forma em relação a Deus: Dá o que sobra! Outros, nem isso têm dado. Poucos, estão dando uma oferta. Quando somos generosos, recebemos muito mais do que damos.
O texto de Provérbios 11.24,25 nos diz: "Há quem dê generosamente e vê aumentar suas riquesas; outros retém o que deveriam dar, e cai na pobreza. O generoso prosperará; quem dá alivio aos outros, alivio receberá."
Somos generosos para com o outro? Somos generosos para com a casa de Deus? Creio que essa modalidade de contribuição, dízimo, também é uma forma de disciplinar, de educar. Mas podemos enxergar outras maneiras de contribuir financeiramente: A da viuva pobre (Mc 12.41-44), por exemplo. Ela deu tudo que possuía. Creio que podemos ler nesse texto, dentre outras coisas, que uma pessoa, por mais pobre que seja, não está isenta de colaborar. Com tudo a contribuição não deve ser uma imposição, mas deve brotar do coração.
Paulo nos diz também que a contribuição deve ser feita com alegria, não com peso no coração, não por obrigação (2 Co 9.6-15).
E como contribuímos para a obra de Deus? Damos uma coleta ou uma oferta? A sua contribuição com orações e participação nas atividades na igreja são fundamentais! Você tem ofertado o melhor ou apenas o osso?
Contudo, não esqueça que a sua contribuição financeira é importantíssima para manutenção dos trabalhos, para divulgação do evangelho. Não contribua com a Igreja como se você estivesse pagando um clube! Ao fazer a sua doação, pense: Estou doando para a obra de Deus. Sua oferta não é um pagamento, mas é uma ação de graças. Eu agradeço a Deus, por tudo que Ele tem feito, doando um pouco para sua obra. Não vou dar o que sobra.
Vou dar uma oferta do fundo do coração! Alguém disse que a carteira, o bolso, é a parte do ser humano mais difícil de converter. Deixe que Deus te converta por inteiro: Coração e Bolso. Amém!

Thanksgiving: Offer or Collection?
Once a boy went to a meeting where the pastor talked about the difference between collection and supply. That day, his mother served in a delicious roast chicken lunch. The boy grabbed a chicken leg to give the geek who was under the table. When his mother saw it, cried:
_ Son, the first agent and then eats the meat of the bone to the dog. The boy, annoyed, did not give the dog the chicken leg. After making your meal, took the bone and gave the dog, saying:
_ Here, Toto! Supposed to be an offer, but is now only one collection!
Many people act the same way in relation to God, Give what is left! Others do not even have given. Few are making a bid. When we are generous, we received much more than we give.
The text of Proverbs 11.24,25 tells us: "One man gives freely yet gains even riches, others retain what they should give, and falls into poverty. The generous prosper, he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed."
We are generous to each other? We are generous to God's house? I think this kind of contribution, tithe, is also a form of discipline, to educate. But we can see other ways to contribute financially: The poor widow (Mark 12.41-44), for example. She gave all she had. I think we can read this text, among other things, that a person, however poor it may be, is not without work. With all the contribution should not be an imposition, but must spring from the heart.
Paul also tells us that the contribution must be made with joy and not with heavy heart, not by compulsion (2 Corinthians 9.6-15).
And how we contribute to the work of God? We give a collection or a gift? Your contribution and participation in prayers with church activities are essential! You have offered the best or only the bone?
However, do not forget that your contribution is critical for maintenance of work and spreading the gospel. Do not contribute to the church as if you were paying a club! When making your donation, think: I'm donating to the work of God. His offer is not a payment but it is a thanksgiving. I thank God for all He has done by donating a little to his work. I will not give what is left.
I'll give a gift from the heart! Someone said that the wallet, pocket, is part of being human more difficult to convert. Let God will convert it entirely: Heart and pocket. Amen!
